Pushing the boundaries of Nu-Disco, Funk and House, the Best of 2021 EP is driven by rising artists based all over the world.

Australian duo Tuesday Brunch, Mexico's Monsieur Van Pratt and UK newcomer Campbell Pirrett lead the way on the A-side. On the flip you'll discover soulful house from Parisian Soul and Pete Maxey. A VA EP bursting with character, this is a special compilation that defines the sound of The Disco Express in its inaugural year as a label.

"It's been just over a year since East London party crew The Disco Express launched their offshoot label, so to celebrate they've decided to deliver a jam-packed EP featuring some of the imprint's musical highlights to date, none of which have appeared on vinyl before.

Check first Tuesday Brunch's slick, summery opener 'Satin Lovers', where eyes-closed R&B style vocals and jazz guitar licks ride a shuffling deep house groove, before turning your attention to Monsieur Von Pratt's heavyweight disco-funk edit, 'Funk Force'.

Elsewhere, Campbell Pirret's 'Only You' is a filter-sporting, piano-heavy disco-house worokout, Parisian Soul's 'Another Man (vinyl mix)' is a warming fusion of '70s soul and Rhodes-heavy soulful house, and Pete Maxey's 'For The Love of Music' sits somewhere between colourful nu-disco and bass-heavy deep house."
