Soundsmith's Acorns leads proceedings with gusto. It's a groove-lead affair, coupling lush key solos with echoing vocal tones, whilst whispering hats provide the signature funk-fuelled Disco Express rhythm.

Victimised by Takao comes next. Featuring an emotive female hook throughout, the five-minute cut feels both poignant and elated in one. Resonant chords reside atop subtle kick-hat combos to form a beautiful club-ready number. Perfect for sunrise, sunset or anywhere in between.

Rounding off proceedings is Theon Bower’s Sour Candy. Swiftly upping the tempo, it’s a peak-time piece that you can’t help but dance to. Acoustic guitar rhythms blend into infectious saxophone solos before we're taken back to dancefloors of old with plenty of feel-good, boogie-laden singing.
