The Disco Express is thrilled to announce the highly-anticipated release of XPRESS Remixes Vol.4. Featuring four impeccable remixes, of original disco gems, this latest volume is absolutely stacked, boasting a truly top class lineup of talented artists.
Leading the way with his retro-futuristic edit of 'Give Me Your Love' is British DJ and remix master Dave Lee (Joey Negro). Infusing fresh and modern twists with themes from the golden era of disco, the ZR Records boss delivers his signature touch to this meticulously recorded, contemporary classic by Luke Delite & Michelle Weeks.
Following suit, with his own equally sublime remix, is Tropical Disco Records label head Moodena. 25 years in the London music scene and Moodena continues to churn out consistently top quality remixes and edits. Lending his invaluable experience to remixing Giman & Chic_Ago's 'The Job', Moodena provides acid synths and choppy guitar licks in this chugged out, disco mix that simply oozes in quality.
Michael Gray is a household name thanks to his series of outstanding dance music hits including most notably 'The Weekend'. An artist we've been inspired by since our inception, we are simply delighted to welcome him to the label, remixing 'Be Yourself' by Parisian producer Sam Karlson and NYC house music royalty Barbara Tucker. A song that celebrates individuality, Michael expertly combines Barbara's gorgeous vocals with hypnotic strings and rolling drums. Fused together with a deep and bouncing baseline, Michael flawlessly transforms 'Be Yourself' into a bass-laden dubbed out groover.
Rounding off the compilation is style is Russian artist, producer and DJ Scruscru. Evolving fast within the European house and disco scene, Scruscru utilises funky organ keys, hi hat shuffles, drum breaks and a stomping beat. His remix of 'Disco Jazzin' by Generoco takes you on a journey through the deeper sides of jazz based house music.
